Pastor Lionel, Stacy, and the team are arriving in Nairobi, Kenya this afternoon. I have to admit that I’m a bit jealous (yes I have confessed this!) because they are going to be hanging out with and loving on the current children that are there, but also they will be meeting the 17 new orphans that have just moved into the home—how AWESOME! As you may have heard last Sunday, you will have an opportunity to sponsor one of these children on Sunday, March 17th right here at Calvary Church. I encourage you to be praying about this opportunity to sponsor a child; it will not only help change the life of one of those children, but it will also change yours!
We are so blessed as a church to have such a talented team of staff and leaders who serve faithfully each and every week—be sure to thank them when you see them! In fact, this Sunday we will be hearing from one of our previous staff pastors and one of my good friends, Dr. Brent Whitefield, who currently serves as the Outreach Pastor at Northpoint Church in Corona, California. He has a passion for Global Missions that becomes contagious when you hear him speak, so be prepared to be challenged and changed by what he has to say this Sunday.

Children's Ministries
This Friday, 2.22 Rock Solid Kids is hosting a Family Fun Night where families will get the chance to connect, play, grow, and enjoy hanging out together! There will be open gym at 6p with lots of fun activities. Movie time will begin at 7p. CLICK HERE for further details.
Coffee with the Pastors
Calvary guests are invited to join us on Sunday, 3.3 from 6:30-8p at Cornucopia Coffee Company. Learn about Calvary’s values and vision, and take the opportunity to ask questions of the pastoral staff in a casual environment. We would love to meet you! RSVP online or at the Info Desk on Sunday.
Student Ministries
12 bands - $10! Connect Students (Grades 6-8) are invited to head to Chicago this Saturday, 2.23 for Winter Jam 2013 at Sears Centre Arena. Vans will be leaving from the church parking lot at 1:30p and returning around 11p. Bring $10 for admission plus $ for food. Spots are limited. Contacted Noel Perry to confirm availability.
Reliant High School Students (Grades 9-12), join us tomorrow night, 2.21 at 6:30p. We meet every other Thursday for a gathering typically including a fun activity and devotional discussion time!

The biggest Sunday of the year will come soon (March 31)! Join us for a special communion service on Good Friday, 3.29 @ 6p and the Easter Sunday celebration service at 7:30a, 9a, or 10:45a.
