Calvary’s “All The People Tour” with Matt Maher, Chris August & Bellarive, Sevenglory

Calvary Church in Valparaiso was proud to host a great concert with Christian National Recording Artists Matt Maher, Chris August, and Bellarive with their “All The People Tour” sponsored by Compassion International. Calvary’s very own Sevenglory opened the show and setting the tone for the evening bring the crowd to their feet.

Singer-songwriter and worship leader Matt Maher sang some of his popular hits, such as “Hold Us Together,” “Your Grace Is Enough,” “Christ Is Risen” and “Turn Around.” Matt's new worship album, All The People Said Amen, featuring the songs "Lord, I Need You" & "Burning In My Soul," was just released Tuesday, April 23rd and is available in stores.

It’s great for Calvary Church to be a part of such a great night of music. We hope this to be the start of a great tradition and partnering with artists to spread the good news,” said Kurt Felsman, Director of Worship at Calvary Church and also the lead singer for the Christian rock band Sevenglory.

It’s always a great time spending time with friends worshipping through music. Can’t wait to see how God is going to be glorified through these artists bringing us God’s word,” shared Karla Kroncke.

We were asked to come by a good friend, so we decided to come and have a great time working and praising God with others who just want to enrich their relationship with God,” stated Julie Pedroza.

Calvary Church had many volunteers to help make the night a success. Volunteer Julie Shoupe stated, “Working behind the scenes is a fun experience. The people are awesome and informative. Robyn Walsworth is great at finding opportunities to serve. Katie Mitchell was awesome with all the information she had to offer. The bands were amazing! The volunteers rocked! Robyn also put a lot of time into this event. Peter Khosla did an especially amazing job putting this event together.”

Some of Calvary’s youth also volunteered by having pizza, cupcakes and cookies to satisfy those snack cravings throughout the evening. Emma Kurt and Tori Perlstein, VHS students who attend Calvary’s youth commented, “Working with the youth group is a privilege and a joy because you get to see people changing every day. Getting to be apart of that is amazing. We thank God for our youth group every day.”
