Sunday: Catholic Schools Week begins with Open House. Students are encouraged to come to 10:00 mass in uniform.

Monday: We will be decorating bags that the Meals on Wheels program place food in. Since many people who receive Meals on Wheels are homebound and are often unable to get dressed we are linking this day with a pajama day, students will be allowed to wear appropriate pajamas to school. (Service)

Tuesday: 7th and 8th grades go to Mass at Andrean, K-6 will have a prayer service. (Faith)

Wednesday: Make a card or letter for Father Joe, Father Michael, or Father Jamie, Deacon Dave, Deacon Mike, and Deacon Jim; thanking them for their service to the church. Volleyball game in the afternoon. Students may wear spirit wear with uniform pants. (Service and Faith)

Thursday: “Souper” Service Day-Bring canned soup for the local food pantry. If student brings a can of soup they may choose to wear a NFL (not college or other) team shirt or jersey, linking this to the NFL Super Bowl. (Service)

Friday: All School Mass K-2 lead, Students sit with parents at Mass and will give parents a letter thanking them for sending them to St. Paul or what they enjoy about St. Paul. Older siblings will get younger siblings and be dismissed by announcements. Students will be dressed in uniforms and Christian Attitude will be presented after Mass. (Faith)

Ongoing throughout the week:

Each grade will be given five religion trivia questions. After announcements each day teachers ask their class the question of the day. The students write their answers on a piece of paper and the teachers keep track of who answers correctly. The student with the most correct answers at the end of the week will get a NO HOMEWORK pass. (Faith and Knowledge)

In conjunction with Catholic Schools Week and our Book Fair, we are asking parents/students to donate to The Caring Place or VNA Phoenix Center, both located in our Valparaiso Community. (Service)
