Kids who sign up for a Club membership that day can win a Laser Tag birthday party from Zao Island
Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County announced their annual “Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids” will be held on September 15, 2012 at Zao Island, located at 1050 Horse Prairie Avenue, Valparaiso, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Each year, hundreds of kids and adults take part in this Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s celebration of families and fun. “Day for Kids” is a national family event emphasizing the importance of meaningful time spent between caring adults and children.
The first 450 people can purchase discounted tickets for $3.00 per person. After the first 450 tickets are sold, the price increases to $6.50 per ticket. Each ticket is good for one round of mini-golf, 20 arcade/ batting cage tokens, and their choice of one additional attraction, for example go-karts, or Laser Tag. “Day for Kids” is a rain or shine event and is open to the public.
As part of the “Day for Kids” celebration, Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County is offering special pricing on club memberships for youth in grades K-12. Parents save $10.00 off of the annual membership fee and pay only $25.00 when purchasing a Boys & Girls Club membership at Zao Island during the “Day for Kids” event. Financial assistance for membership is available for those who qualify.
Each child who purchases a new membership at the event will be entered in a raffle for a Laser Tag birthday party package, courtesy of Zao Island. The prize includes pizza, pop and Laser Tag for up to 10 party guests ($100 value).
All area youth and their families are welcome to attend. Tickets will go on sale August 22nd at the Club locations below:
