Meet us at Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago (between Randolph, Washington, Dearborn and Clark streets) today at noon for this spectacular event. Join the sea of green that will take over Daley Plaza as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary.

Promise Circles
Pin a green ribbon to your lapel and join sister Girl Scouts, families, volunteers, alumnae, and supporters of all ages for local celebrations happening everywhere on our historic 100th anniversary! Together, we will recite the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Most will do so at exactly 19:12 military time (7:12 p.m. CST), and honor the millions of girls whose lives have been changed through Girl Scouting. Which Promise Circle will you attend? CEO Maria Wynne Highlights Girl Scouting's 100th Anniversary in Local Media
This morning during the 5 a.m. broadcast, Maria Wynne kicked off the celebration on ABC 7 Chicago! She spoke about 2012 being the Year of the Girl, and the ToGetHerThere campaign, the largest, boldest advocacy and fundraising cause campaign dedicated to girls' leadership issues in the nation's history.Yesterday, Maria was featured on 101.9 WTMX (The Mix) during a segment called "MIX Matters" with Susan Wiencek.
