Centier Bank promotes Anthony Contrucci to senior vice president of community relations

Michael E. Schrage, CEO and Chairman of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Anthony Contrucci to Senior Vice President of Community Relations.

Contrucci has led the charge behind Centier’s community-focused initiatives, which include corporate giving, volunteerism, and financial education since becoming Vice President of Community Relations and Business Development in 2016. Contrucci originally joined Centier Bank in 2011 as the Wealth Management and Strategic Products Consultant and then went on to serve as the Director of Investment Services in 2014.

“From forming the community relations and business development department, to launching CentierGives, and perpetuating Centier’s servant heart culture, Anthony has been an integral part in helping countless nonprofits, schools, and other organizations achieve their goals and fulfill their missions,” Schrage said.

Contrucci said that Centier’s purpose of preserving private, family-owned community banking in perpetuity is his focus.

“I am committed to expanding the organization’s positive impact on communities across Indiana for generations to come,” stated Contrucci.

“Centier’s commitment of remaining an engaged corporate citizen, a true community bank and partner, is how we have been able to impact the lives of so many over the past 126 years. We strive to create a better quality of life for all by promoting our servant heart leadership and culture,” Contrucci explained. “I’m honored to lead in such a caring organization that strives to do well by doing good and that puts purpose before profit.”

From 2016-2020, the Bank’s community impact across Indiana was valued at a total of $11,055,978. The finding came out of a study examining several areas of corporate philanthropy including volunteerism, donations, and internal fundraising which quantified Centier Bank’s impact on local organizations and communities at large.
