"Don’t hang up your skates yet," says Central Park Plaza Facility Manager Dan McGuire. “The Central Park Plaza Ice Rink will open to the public this Saturday, February 25, and remain open through March 12.” The Valpo Parks closed the rink this past week due to the unseasonably warm weather that challenged the ice making.
“The cooler temperatures forecasted for the next two weeks will allow us to keep ice and the rink open for the remainder of our 2016-2017 season,” said McGuire. “We invite the public to be sure to enjoy the final 16 days of ice skating for this winter.”
