Century 21 Alliance Group recently welcomed a handful of new employees, and some were able to tell us a bit about their experience and what led them to become a member of the real estate team. Read on to learn more about them and why they’re excited to start their careers with the Region’s real estate empire.

Debora Suyak - Real Estate Broker

Deborah Suyak said she chose to work at Century 21 Alliance Group for a variety of reasons.

“This brokerage office has very high standards, strong ethics, and provides exceptional support for the success of each broker,” she said.

Suyak is very much a people person, making her role as a real estate broker a perfect fit.

“My favorite part about working for Century 21 Alliance Group is the people. I truly enjoy the variety of fantastic personalities within this talented group of brokers,” Suyak said.

Suyak said building these professional relationships, whether they be customers or coworkers, is even what she enjoys most about working in the field.

Suyak said she’s found a home within the Century 21 Alliance Group and is looking forward to her time at the company.

“I don’t see myself ever leaving Century 21 Alliance Group, and I definitely look forward to many years of growth and success,” she said.

Connor Ritzi - Associate Broker

Connor Ritzi became a member of the Century 21 Alliance Group through mutual connections: Nick and Jeanne Sommer. Knowing people already a part of the team allowed him to learn more about the company from an outsider’s perspective and made him feel more than welcome right on the first day.

“Nick and Jeanne are good family friends and great people,” he said.

Ritzi also works with Nick on the commercial side of the business.

Ritzi felt like working at Century 21 Alliance Group was the perfect fit. He enjoys both the work he does and the people he works with. He also likes that Century 21 Alliance Group will allow him to build on what he already knows and learn new things as well.

“I love the people that I get to work with, and that I get to work on projects that interest me,” he said. “I am looking forward to growing my skill set, as well as working in a career that I enjoy,”

He chose to pursue real estate as a career for those very reasons. As a business person with a passion for helping people, he knew this was the path for him.

“I enjoy meeting interesting people, and getting to help them achieve their investment or business goals,” he said.

Jennifer "Jen" Luce - Real Estate Broker/Agent

Jennifer Luce had a positive view on Century 21 Alliance Group coming in, and knew she wanted to work for a company that treats its customers like a top priority.

“I was excited about the opportunity to work with a brokerage known for decades of excellent service,” she said.

Luce also likes that the company cares about its employees as well and works with them to make sure they’re able to do their best work.

“I appreciate the team effort to make sure everyone succeeds,” she said.

Luce said she likes the challenge and the relationships that come from working in real estate.

“I love getting to know new people and helping them navigate an exciting and sometimes challenging time of life,” she said.

Luce looks forward to learning from others in her field to help improve her skill set.

“I look forward to learning more from a fantastic group of experts in the industry,” she said.

Mark Horstmann - Real Estate Broker

When Mark Horstmann and his wife were buying a new home, they worked with an agent from Century 21 Alliance Group and were really impressed with the service. However, it was his wife that made the jump first over to the company.

“When my wife, Terry McCaleb, and I bought our current home, our agent was from Century 21 Alliance Group. It was such a great experience,” he said. “Terry was inspired to change careers and she joined Century 21 Alliance Group seven years ago.”

When McCaleb began her career at Century 21 Alliance group, Horstmann saw how well she was treated there and realized the real estate office just might be the perfect fit for him, too.

“During that time, Jeanne and Nick Sommer and Kathy Bowgren were so helpful and encouraging to Terry, which led to her success in the industry. It was no question when I got my license two years ago where I wanted to be,” he said.

Horstmann said the support he gets from his coworkers is what really makes the job worthwhile.

“The staff is by far the best in the industry. When working for Century 21 Alliance Group, or clients that are working with one of our agents, you know you have the best support team you could ask for. Everyone from Amanda Genovese, Cassidy Stewart, Renee Johnston and our office manager, Kathy Bowgren are the backbone of what makes our office the absolute best,” he said.

Horstmann describes himself as a people person and loves interacting with a wide variety of people on a daily basis.

“I enjoy the interaction I have with my clients and the ability to help guide them through the process of buying or selling a home. It is very fulfilling,” he said.

Horstmann is always looking for ways to improve upon his work and help better serve his clients.

“I’m looking forward to learning and growing as a broker to serve my clients better.  We focus on training and continuing our education constantly through the office,” he said.
