During the early months of 2023 is when Listing and Buying Specialist Nichole Shinebayar found her place at Century 21 Alliance Group on the Jeanne Sommer Team. A team photo she came across online portrayed the sense of unity she had been looking for. This prompted her to reach out and pursue a place on the team!
From there, she picked up the phone to make some connections, now Shinebayar is honored to say she’s found the team she’s been searching for! As the newest member of The Jeanne Sommer team, she looks forward to serving NWI side by side with her fellow team members!
“I made the move and called the office, I spoke with Lori who took my number down, and waited for Kathy our office manager to call me back,” Shinebayar said, “Shortly after that I received a call from Kathy. She felt that bringing me onto Jeanne’s team would be the right fit—it would be good training and a great way to become an excellent agent and do things the right way!”
Shortly after making the decision that Century 21 Alliance was an excellent fit, Shinebayar made the switch over to The Jeanne Sommer Team! Having done marketing and administrative work for a company back in 2015, then graduating from real estate school in 2021. She finally was able to come into the role that she had desired for a long time, as an agent on Jeanne’s team!
“I became a licensed agent last year in January 2022,” Shinebayar said. “I would drive by Century 21 Alliance almost daily; I was waiting for the right moment to make the call. I guess you could say I was silently observing for the perfect time.”
A few different factors prompted Shinebayar to jump into the real estate business. Both a mother and a people person, she wanted an enjoyable career that would suit her personality while offering an ideal work-life balance. Working at Century 21 Alliance has been the perfect avenue for her to have some time out of the house while continuing to raise her family.
“I'm a very social person, I thrive on being around people and sharing my life with others. When deciding on a career path I wanted something that I could do from home and still be active with meeting new people and marketing, so that’s why I became a real estate agent,” Shinebayar stated.
The Jeanne Sommer team has become the professional work family Shinebayar has been looking for. She is beyond delighted to have finally found that sense of unity in the workplace. She mentioned she’s become close working alongside Jeanne’s Team Manager Amanda and is so thankful to work with such kind and helpful people!
“People are doing things to help you versus trying to one-up you, it really is a close-knit team. I feel supported and encouraged,” Shinebayar said, “I would say the team, support, and the encouragement is what I enjoy most. I've made friends with a lot of my fellow agents, the office is full of very genuine, caring people.”
Now in her dream role at her dream company, Shinebayar has her sights set on improving her skills and putting everything she’s learned over the years into action.
“I'm starting new agent training in June and I'm looking forward to becoming more skilled in all things real estate. Just like when you’re learning something new and you practice it over and over it becomes a part of your muscle memory, then it becomes second nature,” Shinebayar said, “I’m looking forward to meeting new people and serving the Valparaiso community with a smile and excellence!”
