Challenger Learning Center to Celebrate 15 Years with Contest

Challenger-Patch-ContestStudents can create anniversary patch

In celebration of the Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana’s 15th anniversary, the center will be accepting entries for the 15th anniversary patch design contest.

Students are asked to design a patch that symbolizes the Challenger Learning Center’s 15 years of inspiring and engaging students to reach for the stars through the STEM fields by flying students on missions to the Moon, Mars and to Rendezvous with a Comet. STEM fields are science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Patches should be designed in the shape of a rectangle, circle or square using crayons, markers, colored pencils or computer art software on a 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper. Students must submit original artwork with the 15 year design-a-patch form, which can be found at http://www.clcnwi.com/resources/patches/, by Wednesday, Dec. 11. Entries may be mailed, emailed or dropped off to Challenger Learning Center.

The center is located on Purdue University Calumet’s campus at 2300 173rd Street, Hammond, Indiana 46323. Email entries may be sent to questions@clcnwi.com.
