Chicago Street Welcomes Rock Icon Peterik

Jim-PeterikChicago Street Theatre's "One Night Jam" concert series, in conjunction with Front Porch Music, is proud to welcome back rock icon Jim Peterik for an acoustic evening of hits and tales from his long and storied career. This will be Peterik's sixth appearance on the CST stage.

The intimate concert will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.

Peterik has written some well-known songs including "Hold On Loosely" by 38 Special and Survivor songs like "The Search Is Over," "High On You," and the iconic fight anthem "Eye Of The Tiger".

"If you listened to rock radio at all during the '80's, you heard Jim's songs. However, he didn't just stop there - he hasn't slowed his pace at all. He's still full of energy and creativity today. Few artists are as engaging with an audience as Jim is. He truly understands how important the fans are to his career," said Paul Braun, series director.

Seating is reserved, very limited, and on sale now. As a special benefit for those who purchase one of the four VIP "Couch Seats", they will get a special pre-show photo opportunity with Peterik. The 8x10 photos will be printed during the show and available to take home.

CST also is partnering with Front Porch Music to offer a rare opportunity to spend some time earlier in the afternoon in a songwriting seminar with Peterik. It will be held at 3 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Front Porch Music in Valparaiso.
