Christmas Applications Now Accepted at Porter County Salvation Army

SalvArmyLogoColorSmallPorter County residents needing help for their 2011 Christmas with gifts and food may now apply at The Salvation Army Porter County Corps Community Center, Hwy 6 and 1 block west of Hwy 149 in South Haven, Indiana, Mondays through Fridays, October 24 through November 10, 9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 3 pm.

Applicants should bring:

  1. Photo ID of person applying
  2. Social Security Number for all in household
  3. Birth Certificates or Medicaid Cards for children being helped (ages birth to 13 years of age)
  4. Proof of recent (last 30 days) household income and
  5. Proof of present Porter County Residency (e.g. current utility bill, etc).

Please do not bring your children during the application process and distribution day.
