The Chesterton High School Science Olympiad team recently competed in the 2012 State tournament at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. The team won 11th place overall.
Placing in team events at state were Eric Dreischerf and Logan Krantz with a first (state champs) in Gravity Vehicle and fourth in Robot Arm, and Alex Hanson and Autumn Miller with a fourth in Rocks and Minerals. Science Olympiad team coaches are Kim Stahura and Jack Neuliep.
