City of Hammond Announces Festival of the Lakes Partnership with Walgreens

rot1Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation are pleased to announce a partnership with Walgreens that saves Festival goers money and makes it more convenient to purchase specific Festival of the Lakes carnival and parking passes from July 6 through July 19 at any one of 46 participating Walgreens stores for use at the Festival of the Lakes from July 20-24. There are three different ways to take advantage of this partnership.

First, at any participating Walgreens, Festival goers can purchase a Carnival Mega Pass for $45. This is a $5 savings off of the base price. The Carnival Mega Pass allows unlimited carnival rides for the entirety of the Festival from July 20-24. After purchasing the Carnival Mega Pass, turn it in at the Modern Midways ticket office on the Festival grounds at Wolf Lake Park on Wednesday, July 20 at 5 p.m., and receive a bracelet that is worn for the entirety of the Festival.

Secondly, also available at any participating Walgreens from July 6-19, is the Single Day Parking Pass for $22 each. This is a $3 discount from the price charged on the Festival grounds. You will receive a ticket from the Walgreens cashier, then just bring it to the Festival and when you are ready to park, give it to the Festival Parking Cashier.

Thirdly, Walgreens will be offering 3 Day Parking Passes for $60! This is a savings of $15 over the regular daily parking rate at the Festival of the Lakes. Again, just present your ticket to the Festival Parking Cashier when you arrive.

No refunds, exchanges or replacements of any kind will be made for these deals. For a list of the 46 participating Walgreens stores, visit http://www.festivalofthelakes.com.
