Concert for a Cause Rocks Calvary Church

Local musicians gathered at Calvary Church on February 17 in the name bringing hope to children worldwide. National recording artists Sevenglory, joined by special guests Daniel Doss and Jennie Wellsand, put on a benefit concert to a packed house, raising money for Mitaboni Children’s Home in Kenya, Africa. “I couldn’t be more excited,” enthused Doss, sharing his feelings about sharing the stage with Sevenglory in the efforts to raise support for those in need of help.

Calvary Church has joined with Kids Alive International to support Mitaboni Children’s Home, an orphanage run by Kids Alive. Mission Mitaboni not only gives a future to orphans; the initiative contributes to the wellbeing of the local community in the area. The church is fully responsible for supporting the home and the money raised from the concert will help in that support.

We are excited about local Christian artists coming together for a great cause, saving the lives of orphans in some of the most desperate places in the world,” stated Calvary Senior Pastor Lionel Young, “Calvary is very excited about doing all we can to encourage Christian artists to write, record, and play music for the glory of God.
