This past summer, the teachers in grades kindergarten through fifth grade set a challenge for the summer reading assignment. The challenge was to get a coverall for the summer reading Bingo sheet. That means they had to complete 12 bingos and read 25 different books! This past Friday, those students were able to dress down and were acknowledged by Mrs. Scupham after Mass. They also had a special cool treat in the afternoon with an extra recess. We would like to congratulate ALL participants of the summer reading assignment. Without all our participants, we would not have been able to win the Valparaiso Summer Reading Program again for the 13th year. We again have the trophy to show for it. Great job to all!
