Convoy to Escort Veterans Traveling Tribute and Traveling Vietnam Wall to Purdue North Central Campus

A convoy will escort the American Veterans Traveling Tribute and Traveling Vietnam Wall to the Purdue University North Central campus on Tuesday, July 3. The public is invited to join the convoy.

The American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) and Traveling Vietnam Wall will be on public display at PNC from July 3 at 7 p.m. to July 7 at 11 a.m.

The convoy, organized by AVTT committee member Steve Moore of The Wall Gang, will include members of the Wall Gang, along with local fire departments, state and local police, bikers, car clubs and other patriotic citizens.

Participants will meet July 3 at 9 a.m. at Cabela's, 7700 Cabela Drive, in Hammond, located just off Interstate 94 at exit 2.

The convoy will depart Cabela's at 10 a.m. and will travel via Interstate 94 eastbound to exit 34 A and continue south on U.S. 421 to Purdue North Central.

The opening ceremony will be July 3 at 7 p.m. The closing ceremony will be July 7 at 11 a.m. The exhibit will be open 24 hours a day.
