Day of Caring 2010 – Porter County Sheriff’s Department

The Porter County Sheriff's Department worked all day at the Porter County Aging and Community Services building on last Friday's Day of Caring. They helped put in new rebar and fresh wood on the inside of the awning, as well as weeded, mulched, and removed old car stops that were no longer useful.

Bentley's Towing came out as a favor to remove a metal sign pole that wouldn't budge, no matter how far we dug!

Assistant Warden Ron Gaydos took a turn at putting new rebar into car stops
