The Running Dead Zombie 5K Walk/Run encourages you to enjoy this unique experience with your friends and family. Zombify yourself for the race.
(WARNING: There maybe zombies among us) Participants of all different speeds, ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome and encouraged to be ready to walk, run, stumble (DO NOT FALL !) on the streets of Valparaiso.
From casual walker to an avid runner, we invite you to part of the fun! And, after the race, you don't have to go home! Stay for Screamfest Music Fest featuring Sludg Hammer, The Planetary Blues Band and The Energy Commission. Your registration for the race ($20) includes admission to the music fest, a long-sleeved t-shirt and a beverage. If you are not a runner, stumbler or walker, $10 gets you admission to the music fest, food trucks, silent auction and just plain old fun. If all that isn't enough, know that your participation in either event provides for the women Dayspring serves on their journeys to stability. That seems pretty darn worthwhile, too!
