Discovery Cottage offers new classes through the Valpo Parks
Classes at the Valpo Parks’ Discovery Cottage get kids ready; ready for kindergarten, ready to study, ready for friendships. Several new options are available.
“Ready, Set, Go!” prepares 4 and 5 year olds to be successful in the transition to kindergarten with exposure to math, reading, fine motor skills and more.
“Play Pals” introduces new friends to 18 months to 3 year olds as they socialize in a play group setting full of games, physical activities, coloring, and puzzles.
In “Science Seekers” 3 to 5 year olds will witness the Cottage transformed into a scientific laboratory where they will become chemists and inventors.
And “Get Smart” is designed to show 3rd through 5th graders the skills they need to be a successful student.
