Do cats belong on the kitchen counter? Cat owners and veterinary professionals were polled to find out their feelings on the subject.
When asked if cats should be allowed on the counter, 21% of veterinary professionals who responded answered "yes," 13% answered "rarely" and 54.5% answered "no." 11.4 percent claimed "Other"
The cat owners were more likely than veterinary professionals to allow their cats on the counter: 28% answered "yes", 11% said rarely and 48.1% said "no", with the remaining readers opting for "other."
