The Chesterton Art Center will be hosting children's artwork from the Chesterton Montessori School starting Saturday, March 15 with an Opening Reception from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street-Next on Stage

Sweeney Todd is coming to Chesterton. Performances start on Saturday, March 15 and continue through March 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and April 3-6. Sunday performances are at 3:00 pm, all others start at 8:00 pm. Sweeney Todd is set in 19th century England. The musical tells the story of Benjamin Barker, aka Sweeney Todd, who returns to London after 15 years' exile on trumped-up charges. When he finds out the circumstances surrounding his wife's death, he vows revenge on the judge, and later, the whole world. He teams up with a pie maker, Mrs. Lovett, and opens a barbershop in which he kills the customers and has them disposed of in a very tasteful manner.
