Do you have pain after eating, usually in the upper right or upper middle area of your belly? Have you been told that you have gallstones or should have your gallbladder removed? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this event is for you. General Surgeon Dr. Jac Cooper will discuss gallbladder problems including gallbladder attacks, the signs and symptoms of gallstones and the options for gallbladder removal including minimally invasive and robotic surgery. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 in the Community Room at Porter Regional Hospital, 85 East US Highway 6 in Valparaiso.

Join the Fun at Camp Fairhaven!
Camp Fairhaven has been one of the largest and most successful Christian day camps in the country. Campers will have a summer they will not forget as we ask our campers to "Come Play Funolopy." Adventures will include an amusement park, a minor league baseball game, and an overnight. Your child will not want to miss the activities this summer, so make sure you register for individual weeks desired. Camp will start June 9 and run through August 1. Our daily program starts at 9am and ends at 3:30pm.

A New Volunteer Training for Reins of Life Inc. Therapeutic Riding Program
Need some opportunities to get out into the great outdoors? Reins of Life Inc. will be holding a new volunteer orientation session on Tuesday June 10 from 5:30 to 8:30pm at their Michigan City facility. Reins of Life provides therapeutic horseback riding lessons for children and adults with disabilities. The organization is looking for volunteers to help assist their riders during riding lessons. Pre-registration is mandatory and volunteers must be at least 13 years old. No previous horse experience is required. Come and have some fun helping those who need us most!

All came together in Ideas in Motion Media's Napoleon Street office on Thursday night for the LIFE Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Representatives from the Hobart, La Porte, Duneland, and Portage Chambers of Commerce attended the open house for a symbolic ribbon cutting. The event served to thank the Chambers for their continuous support of Ideas in Motion over the last five years.
