9th Annual Golf Outing

The Field Station is hosting it's 9th Annual Golf Outing. We are a non-profit preschool located within the National Park in Porter. The Field Station is committed to teaching young children about the natural world around them and providing the opportunity to experience nature like so many of us did when we were kids. We are currently seeking golfers at this time. Without our community's generous support, we would not be able to continue offering our unique preschool programs. Community Prayer Breakfast

For 13 consecutive years, the Duneland community has hosted a prayer breakfast patterned after the National Prayer Breakfast gatherings in Washington, DC. This year's speaker is Gary Varvel, syndicated cartoonist at the Indianapolis Star. Tickets are available at Anton Insurance, Duneland Chamber of Commerce, Duneland Family YMCA, The Chesterton Tribune and Duneland Resale in Chesterton, and at Anton Insurance in Valparaiso. The cost of the ticket is $20 each or $160 per table of 8. Checks can be made payable to CPB. Curves Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Curves is offering 10 workouts for $10 donation to Breast Cancer Research or Care October 1-31st. Non-members can purchase a punch card for $10 to be used for 10 workouts, with the ENTIRE amount going toward breast cancer research. Members can purchase a card & dedicate their workouts in honor of someone they know who has battled breast cancer.
