Duneland Spellers Compete in District Bee

Duneland-spelling-bee-winners-Jackson-2013Ten Duneland Elementary winners and their alternates gathered at Jackson Elementary for a district wide spelling bee on Monday. The overall Duneland spelling bee winner was Peyton Martinson of Yost Elementary and runner-up was Emily Freundt of Liberty.

The five individual elementary school winners will represent the Duneland Schools in the Porter County fourth grade competition to be hosted on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m. Ben Franklin M.S. in Valparaiso.
