On April 1, 2013, Andrew Fant (21 years old, 2010 graduate of Chesterton High School) of Jackson Township was riding his bike to class on campus at Purdue University, West Lafayette, when he struck the side of a bus. He has been recovering at St. Elizabeth East campus in Lafayette. Andrew has a long road of recovery ahead of him. The Chesterton Alpha Rho Chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority has established another way for members of the community to help raise money for Andrew’s care.
Come to Wendy’s Community Night on Thursday, May 23rd, 2013. Come to the Wendy’s restaurant located at 748 Indian Boundary Road in Chesterton, Indiana, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and 10% of your purchase will go back to support Andrew. Monies raised that night will go directly to the Fant family to aid in Andrew’s care and recovery.
