According to the latest real estate market data, homes in Heritage sold for a higher price in less time this year compared to the previous year. Sales price rose significantly from $169,993 to $199,236 and the days a home was listed on the market reduced from 152 to 121 days. The number of homes sold in the subdivision stayed steady with 14 sales this year and 15 last year.

Data reflects the sale of single-family existing homes and is courtesy of the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of Realtors. Data was collected from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013 and compared to October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012.

Heritage Valley is located just south of Route 30 and west of Route 2, offering easy access for commuters. Residents of the subdivision can enjoy the parks, walking paths, baseball diamond and picnic shelter, in addition to the lake, which offers opportunities for fishing. Children living in the subdivision attend Valparaiso Community Schools.
