Fifth Third Bank Building Better Communities!

Fifth-Third-BGCPOCO-DonationAs part of an effort to encourage young people to make sound decisions surrounding financial choices, Fifth-Third Bank recently donated $1,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County to implement the Young Bankers Club at the Forrest L. “Dusty” Rhode Portage Unit.

“We are very excited about this established partnership with Fifth-Third Bank. Financial Literacy – and teaching our Club members the importance of saving and how to manage their earnings is very important to us. Fifth-Third Bank is offering our Club members an excellent opportunity through their Young Bankers Club. This fits perfectly into our National Money Matters curriculum, and truly emphasizes to children the importance of financial health,” states Ryan Smiley, president of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.”
