Film Noir at the Brauer Museum of Art

rot3Announcing a new film/lecture series at the Brauer Museum of Art: Thursday Night Noir!
Spend one Thursday evening each month during the spring semester in the shadowy world of noir, with hard-boiled detectives and femme fatales, hoods and hit-men, and capers gone haywire!

The series will feature four iconic films representing distinct themes and eras of film noir:
February 19: Murder, My Sweet (1944)
March 19: The Big Combo (1955)
April 16: Odds Against Tomorrow (1959)

Each film screening will be followed with a presentation/discussion by Peter Aglinskas, Indiana University Northwest Department of Fine and Performing Arts faculty member and creator of the lecture series "The Noir Style in Image, Word and Sound."
