Supporting each other is a key to any successful group. In non-profit organizations that is even more important.

Flanagin’s Bulk Mail Service has been supporting others throughout the Region for decades.

Focused on effectively and efficiently providing the best service possible, Flanagin’s works with local businesses and community groups to spread the word on events, deals, and information.

“Bulk mail is a segment of the post office that allows people to mail larger quantities of the exact mail piece at nicely discounted postage rates,” Donna Flanagin, owner of Flanagin’s Bulk Mail Service, said. “There are these discounts that the post office has that are not easy for people to know about, nor acquire, but they're there. We know all the red tape, and we know all the things that it takes to get you the best deal.”

Knowing that bulk mail works, customers and clients are singing the praises of Flanagin and her team.

“Since I have been in nonprofit work, I have been working with Donna and her team to make our bulk mail communications happen quickly and easily,” said Anicia Kosky, United Way Northwest Indiana chief impact officer.  “Flanagin’s Bulk Mail Service is so knowledgeable about bulk mail processing and fabulous to work with."

Other non-profit organizations also use Flanagin’s Bulk Mail and see the benefit of their service.

“The Independent Cat Society has been using Flanagin’s for at least 21 years,” Carol Albrecht, Independent Cat Society (ICS) secretary said. "ICS uses bulk mail for fundraising/informational purposes for donations at least three times a year and our monthly newsletter. Our mailing list is 2,900 and Flanagin’s saves us a great deal of money over First-Class Mail. We couldn’t afford as many mailings if we had to pay First-Class rates. We receive no funding except through private donations, so it’s very important.”

More than just a business, Flanagin’s works to support its customers with both quality and kindness.

“I appreciate Flanagin’s willingness to go the extra mile when needed. They have been in business in Valpo for a very long time and in the bulk mail world they are a household name,” Kosky said.

“Flanagin’s has been a true friend of ICS by donating both money and items we needed,” Albrecht added. “Two cats, Blaze and Petey, were adopted by Flanagin’s in 2017 and 2018, respectively.”
