I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for all you have done for me. When I came here I was literally dying. I didn't know what to do, what to say, or what to think, for that matter. I couldn't believe I was in this predicament at this time in my life. I do know that if I didn't come here I would have been dead within a week of my release from the hospital. It was time to face facts. I've known for thirty years that I couldn't drink like other people. I knew that I was an alcoholic, and I knew I needed help. This last drunk had to be it. I would not survive another one.
Walking through those doors was the beginning and I was terrified. I was crying out for help and each and everyone of you were there. You were like angels watching over me. I found the help and peace I was seeking. I found me again and who I really am. I found my emotions again, and I found my soul. I found my everything in this house. The people that walk through those doors are the luckiest people in the world. This is where their new life begins.
