Four Crusaders Earn NTCA All-Academic Honor

VU-Four-Crusaders-Earn-Preseason-All-League-HonorsFour members of the Valparaiso women's bowling team earned Honorable Mention All-Academic recognition from the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) for the 2014-15 campaign, as the association announced its honorees this week. The Crusaders have had at least three bowlers honored each year of the program’s existence.

Sophomores Savannah Carr (Buckeye, Ariz./Younger), Alyssa Meade (Chesterfield, Mich./L'Anse Creuse North) and Lauren Wolski (Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South) each were named Honorable Mention All-Academic for a second straight season, an honor awarded to bowlers who maintain at least a 3.4 grade point average for the academic year. Joining the trio of sophomores was graduated senior Sadie Jasinski (Franklin, Wis./Franklin), who received the recognition for the first time.
