Dean Mazzoni, Franciscan Health Michigan City president and chief executive officer, is shown with members of the Guild of Volunteers who presented on April 11 a $77,500 donation to the hospital from funds the group raised in 2016 through various service projects and the hospital Gift Shoppe, which is run by the guild. Mazzoni told the members their services were vital to operations and will provide equipment for the hospital and its Woodland Cancer Center.
“Your services are invaluable and we couldn’t do it without you,” he told the group, whose members provided 18,918 total hours in services as well, last year.
