Franciscan St. Anthony Health EMS Academy Offers EMT – Paramedic Training Program

rot1The Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point Emergency Medical Services Academy will accept applications until 4:00 p.m. June 30 for its next emergency medical technician training program, which will begin in July.

Applications for the six-month course are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily at the EMS Academy, which is located on the second floor of the hospital’s Medical Arts Center, 1201 S. Main St., Suite 201, or through the academy website.

Applicants must be 18 years of age in order to qualify.

Classes will be offered from 6:00  to 10:00 p.m. Monday and Thursday evenings.

EMT program graduates will be eligible to take the state written and practical exam for certification in Indiana.

Course fee is $850, with payment plans available. The Don Hess Memorial Scholarship is available for students in financial need.
