The Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free, informal seminar at Riley’s Railhouse on Thursday, July 5, from 9am – 10:30am. The public is welcomed to attend this event, at which the Chamber will present an overview of the web-based tools, marketing opportunities and networking events that it offers to its members and the Duneland communities which it serves.
“We’re very excited about this opportunity to talk to everyone about what we’re doing,” says Heather Ennis, the Chamber’s Executive Director. “I think we often take for granted that others know about all of our initiatives, programs and events. In talking to our members about our different marketing and networking opportunities in the past few months, we started to notice that we kept hearing the same message: ‘We didn’t know you did that, too!’ We want everyone to know about the tools available to them – from the new electronic Welcome Sign on 49, to our new online software that allows for coupon and job postings, to the nuts-and-bolts value that comes with Chamber membership.”
Sunrise Seminars, held the first Thursday of each month at Riley’s Railhouse, are free and open to both Chamber members and the general public. Riley’s Railhouse is located at 123 N. 4th Street in downtown Chesterton. Registration is required, as seating is limited. Please visit chestertonchamber.org or call the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce office at (219) 926.5513 for registration or questions.
