Girl Scouts Help Animal Shelter

Laundry-Detergent-DriveBrownie Girl Scout Troop 148 completed their Brownie Quest badge in March by doing a service project for the Porter County Animal Shelter. They collected and donated 27 containers of laundry detergent so the shelter would have supplies to wash blankets used in the cages of the stray animals. Volunteers leaders Jeffrin Lozano and Linda Griffith helped this 2nd grade troop at Parkview School deliver the detergent to the shelter.
