Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a nationally recognized curriculum which empowers girls in grades 3-5 to make positive decisions and avoid risky adolescent behaviors while preparing for a 5K race on May 17th at Highland High School in Highland. Registration fee includes race registration, snacks, and a program t-shirt.
GOTR meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:15 to 5:45 pm, at Sunset Hill Farm County Park, from March 10 to May 19, 2014.
Porter County Parks has partnered with Portage Parks to offer Girls on the Run at Woodland Park in Portage. The Portage group will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:15 to 5:45 pm, from March 11 to May 20, 2014, at the Woodland Park Blue Spruce Room.
