The Valpo Parks Department has instructional opportunities for adults of all skill levels. Classes are instructed by Nancy Bender, LPGA teaching professional at Creekside Golf Course and Training Center.
Fore Ladies Only Clinics
These one hour clinics allow you to experience instruction hands-on with other ladies to either refresh or expand basic skills, with a different aspect of the game addressed weekly. Class is on Mondays at 8 AM and tuition is $15 plus range balls. Topics for September:

Wednesday Afternoon Clinics
These topic-specific, one-hour classes address different aspects of the game weekly. Open to men and women of all abilities. Class is on Wednesdays at 2 PM and tuition $15 per class plus the price of range balls. Topics for September:

The Apprentice
An introductory two-day, 2-hour class designed to introduce the game of golf to a beginner where various skills needed to play the game are taught. Loaner clubs are available to use for those without. Tuition is $60 for the 4 hours of instruction plus range ball. Pre-registration is a must. Sessions for September:
Wednesday, September 12 and Friday, September 14 at Noon
Monday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 26 at 11 AM
Pro-Eye on the Golf Guy
Guys, have you reached a ‘mid-season’ lull? This 2-day, 2-hour class will get you back on track. Full swing is addressed on the first day and the short game during the second day. Class is Monday, September 10 and Wednesdays, September 12 at 5 PM. Tuition price is $60 for the 4 hours plus range balls. Pre-registration is a must.
