The Valpo Parks Department has instructional opportunities for adults of all skill levels. Classes are instructed by Nancy Bender, LPGA teaching professional at Creekside Golf Course and Training Center.
Get Golf Ready
As a PGA initiative to grow the game, this three day, two-hour class gives the beginner hands-on experience in the key aspects of the game and finishes with playing a scramble on the course. Tuition is $99 for 6 hours of instruction, range balls, and scramble play on course. Pre-registration required. Loaner equipment provided during session.
Session 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday June 18, 20, 22 Noon – 2 PM
Session 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday June 26, 27, 28 4:00 – 6 PM
Fore Ladies Only Clinics
These one hour clinics allow you to experience instruction ‘hands-on’ with other ladies to either refresh or expand basic skills, with a different aspect of the game addressed weekly. High school age young players are welcome to participate. Class is on Mondays at 8 AM and tuition is $15 plus range balls. Topics for June:

Discovery Golf Lower your score with this 3 day, two-hour class. Spend equal time on the full swing, the short game and course management. Individual action plans using drills and practice programs are designed to improve all aspects of your game. Players of both genders with playing experience are welcome to register. The May session is Monday through Wednesday, June 18-20 from 3 – 5 PM. Tuition is only $99 for 6 hours of instruction, range balls, and on-course play. Pre-registration is a must.
Adult Snap Shots
Players of all abilities will experience hands-on instruction in this one hour class, where one aspect of the golf game is addressed each session to either refresh or expand basic skills. Price is $15 per session plus range balls. Thursdays at 6 PM on the following dates:
