Several different golf sessions are available before the end of December during the school holiday break. Check out the Lil Tigers, Junior 101 & 202 classes and Linksters Academy. Youngsters can attend one session or all of them, each session incorporating different aspects of the game of golf. Prices range from $15 to $30 per class plus range balls.
This Saturday, December 22 offers Lil Tigers class for 3 to 5 year olds at 1 PM, Linksters for ages 6 to 8 at 2 PM and Junior 202 programming at 3 PM for ages 12 and up. On Thursday & Friday, December 27 and 28, try Junior 101 for 9 to 11 year olds at 1 PM, followed by Linksters at 2 PM and Junior 202 programming at 3 PM. Saturday, December 29 will feature Lil Tigers again at 1 PM and Linksters at 2 PM.
Valpo Parks has instructional opportunities for juniors of all skill levels, instructed by Nancy Bender, LPGA teaching professional at Creekside Golf Course and Training Center at 2355 Clifford Road in Valparaiso.
