Fall is in the air, the cooler weather is slowly begin to sneak in, and for the golf fan that can only mean one thing: it’s time to take advantage of the perfect weather before winter comes and get out and hit the links!
If this is what’s racing through your mind during the cool, crisp days of fall, then Robbinhurst Golf Club and Driving Range has the perfect way to have some fun, do some good, and get in a good round with friends old and new at their Chili Open on October 10.
Nestled right during those special times of the season when the weather is perfect, the “Chili” Open will feature a four-person scramble, followed by a chili lunch/dinner after the round.
In addition to the golf, a 50/50 pins game will be available during the round, which will be available for $20 per team.
And if you haven’t got out to the range too much this season, there’s no need to worry either! Just bring a canned food donation for the Portage Township Food pantry to the Open and receive one free mulligan during the round that may just “save your skin” sometime during the round.
Entry fee for the Chili Open is $40, and $20 for Season Pass holders at Robbinhurst. Entry fee includes: round of gold, cart, tee gift, the chili lunch/dinner, and some great prizes given away during the day!
Don’t have a foursome to come out and brave the weather with you? No problem! Just call the fine folks over at Robbinhurst and they will be happy to assist you with setting you up a team so you can get out onto the beautiful course and have some fun!
