Goody Goodz is a student run enterprise. There are a total of 14 members in the class from regional schools. At the beginning of the school year in August, we were given a number of challenges to find our strengths and weaknesses. Everyone in the class was given a job either for the school’s vending machines or the Goody Goodz Store.
The students in the Business Ownership and Sports Marketing Program had to purchase all the products which are available in the store and in the vending machines. They did the decorations, layout, programs, and also created the store name and logo. There were many challenges along their way. The students had to contact Pepsi, Coke, onesource, and Otis Spunkmeyer to purchase products for their store. All forms used in a business are generated by the students, for example: purchase orders and invoices along with daily reports.
Goody Goodz is open Monday through Friday from 7: 35 a.m. to 8:05, then again from 8:45 a.m. to 9:20. You can also submit a cookie order form for example for company parties, business meetings, or just to eat. The cookies can be bought frozen or baked by the dozen. A dozen frozen cookies are $5, and a dozen baked cookies are $6.You can find the order form here.
