Announcing Valparaiso Duplex Build Project
We are pleased to announce that construction of our next home, a Duplex home in Valparaiso, is ready to start. The foundation is complete and the wall panels have been made. On Saturday May 18th, we will gather for a ground breaking ceremony, welcoming our new Partner Families to the start of construction of their homes.
Next we will raise the walls for both sides of the Duplex home and kick off the construction project.
How do I get there?
From Lincolnway and Morgan (Round the Clock) Go south on Morgan, road curves and crosses Railroad Track. Turn left on Courtney, Courtney to Cyrus. Address is 753 Cyrus.
Event Day
Saturday, May 18th 8:30 am start time 3:00 pm end time. Come early to register and have Coffee and snacks.
We will start with a groundbreaking ceremony and then start placing the wall panels in place. Lunch will be provided. All levels of skill are needed. We have the perfect job for you!

"Power Up" your Donation Habitat Porter County has been awarded State of Indiana "NAP" credits again this year.
The Neighborhood Assistance Program Would you like to make a donation and see Habitat receive 4 times the amount of your net donation? Through the Indiana State Tax Credit and your Federal Tax credit, your donation of $250.00 can be turned into a $1000.00 donation for Habitat.
Here is how it works:
Personal Contribution $1000.00 State Tax Credit -$500.00 (NAP) Fed Tax Credit -$250.00 (25% Bracket)
Net Cost of Contribution $250.00
Deduction rates for corporations are enen greater! Please contact us at 219-531-0359 for more information and a State NAP Credit Form provides tax credits to you when you make a donation to Habitat.
