The annual food drive, Feed the Need - Help Us Help The Hungry is here!
Life Bridge Christian Church has been coordinating this event for about 8 years, collecting food to give to those who are in need in our communities.
This takes place Sat., June 7th, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town & Country Markets in Valpo and Portage asking customers to purchase food listed on a hand-out. Those gifts get loaded on a truck and delivered to the Food Bank of NW Indiana the next day. That food then gets distributed all over Porter and Lake counties to soup kitchens, pantries and more.
