We all know the joy in having new school supplies on the first day of school. Help us provide that excitement for the areas less fortunate students. We are collecting the following supplies to help in packing school ready backpacks.
Supplies needed for backpack:

- #2 Pencils
- Glue Sticks
- Glue
- Ruler
- School Box
- Clipboard
- Dry Marker/Eraser
- Scotch Tape
- Erasers
- Highlighter
- Tissues
- Antibacterial Wipes
- Spiral Notebook Paper
- Pocket Folder
- Scissors
These items can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Kouts Public Library LaCrosse Public Library
- Wanatah Library Kankakee Valley REMC
Over 300 filled backpacks have been donated to elementary and middle school students at the following schools:
- Morgan Township Elementary South Central Elementary
- Kouts Elementary Wanatah Elementary
- Washington Township Elementary All elementary schools in Starke County
- Boone Grove Middle School Westville Elementary School
Donations will be accepted until August 1!
