Hilltop Neighborhood House is having their 7th Annual Hilltop Hustle 5K/10K on Saturday, June 19. 
The walk/run will start at Reiner Center, following a course through Valparaiso University’s campus. Registration that day will be from 7 am to 7:45 am, with an 8 am race start. The course features a 5K run or walk, with a new option this year of a 10K run.
Register early before June 1, $15 for the 5K run, $10 for the 5K walk, and $20 for the 10K run. Pre-registrations are also guaranteed an event t-shirt. Race day registration fees add an additional $5.
Awards will be given for Overall Male and Female, by Age Division, for the Team with the most donations, and for the Top Fundraisers. There will be an awards ceremony immediately following the face, as well as refreshments for participants and raffles and prizes from local sponsors and businesses.
Over the last couple of years, Hilltop has invited other community non-profit agencies to join in the fundraising. Whatever amount they raise, they evenly split the proceeds with Hilltop. This allows the organization to raise money without creating an event themselves. The money raised for Hilltop goes towards the childcare scholarship fund.
