Holladay Properties receives ORA™ Elite 1% award for Burlington Station apartment complex

One of Holladay Properties’ newest and most prestigious projects – Burlington Station - has garnered national recognition from a leading reputation management company, putting it in the nation’s top 100 properties nationwide for having an excellent online reputation.

The 89-unit luxury apartment complex located at 5100 Forest Avenue in Downers Grove, Ill., received the ORA™ (Online Reputation Assessment) Elite 1% award by J Turner Research, scoring a 96/100.

Each year, The ORA™ statistical model aggregates and analyzes online ratings and reviews of more than 120,000 properties across 21+ review sites and ILSs to generate a single score on a 0-100 scale, that is easy to monitor, rank, and improve. This process is pioneered by J Turner Research, the leading full-circle online reputation management company exclusively serving the multifamily industry.

“It’s a big honor to receive this recognition. It’s a testament to how hard our team works from our on-site staff of four people to our leadership at our corporate office,” said Cara Pagels, Residential Property Manager at Burlington Station. “Here at Burlington, it’s all about community, and the team at Holladay really aimed for this when the complex was brought to life.”

Seventy-one percent of prospects surveyed by J Turner Research choose to visit a property with a better online reputation. Properties who receive a high ORA™ score produce 15 percent more leases than properties with lower ORA™ scores.

Residents of Burlington Station enjoy incredible amenities like fiber optic internet, climate controlled indoor parking, an 8,000-square-foot outdoor amenity deck, 24-hour fitness center, cyber cafe, pet perks, and even a residential car share program that enables residents to share an electric vehicle.

In addition to the surplus of amenities and activities, the property management provided by Holladay Properties sets Burlington Station apart. “The care and the direction of the Holladay team is abundant. We pour our hearts into our roles here and it feels amazing to know that our passions have been so highly received from prospects and that residents are willing to voice their opinions about the property on the internet. It’s a huge honor,” Pagels said.

Pagels and her team are constantly building relationships with residents and working to meet their needs.

“The property management team that Cara has formed at Burlington Station is a huge part of what makes the residents so happy. Cara and her team put 190 percent effort into their work every day,” said Shasta Kreighbaum, Residential Senior Property Manager at Holladay Properties. “They are constantly learning new things and coming up with new ideas and strategies to make Burlington successful.”

Like any road traveled, the pathways are not always without small bumps and roadblocks.

“We had our ups and downs just like many new construction buildings do, but this also gave us the chance to problem solve, work closely with our residents before they arrived, and it made opening day that much sweeter,” Pagels said.

Holladay Properties and the property management team will continue to strive for additional recognitions like the ORA™ Elite 1% award, and the key, they said, is to put the community’s needs first.

“For us, the award was great affirmation of all the hard work put into the process,” said Jackie Green, CPM®, ARM®, Partner and Vice President of Property Management at Holladay Properties. “In the future, we are looking forward to continuing to reach for this level of success and serving smaller communities that surround Chicago. We are continuing to grow and evolve with each new project.”

Pagels and the team at Holladay set out to achieve one thing for certain: bringing a community together. “Our residents can feel the hard work that Holladay put into every square foot of the complex and it speaks volumes to our main goal – to bring people together,” Pagels said. “People really are looking to belong, find purpose, and have a community. Property management and the entire team at Holladay realizes this and works hard to ensure it.”
