Recently, Thom Holley and Bryce Scott of Holley’s Landscaping headed to the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute in Louisville, KY. They went there to get take the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Course.
For those who are unaware, passing this test testifies to a contractor’s skill in laying pavers correctly.
“It shows that you can do the job efficiently and correctly. You can trust your own work,” Scott explained. “This certification adds to the positive reputation that we have and it lets customers know that we can do the job right, the first time.”
Holley’s can now add warranties to their work and use this as a selling point for clients as this certification recognizes the holder’s commitment to the quality and care of his or her work.
This certification is valid for two years, meaning that Thom and Bryce must continue their education at the ICPI. And they are looking forward to it.
“We’ve been going to the institute for the past two years. Not only were the instructors fun to learn from, but they also taught a lot both years,” Scott said. “Thom and I are both certified in the concrete paver installer course and the advanced residential paver technician course.”
