Horizon Bank Donation Lights Way To Army

horizon-donates-sign"This new sign will help us get the message out on important services available, Corps events and needs to help suffering humanity. We are so thankful for Horizon Bank and Landmark Sign Group for this important help for us and the community. They both have gone the extra mile to help the Army and ultimately help people going thru crisis situations during these difficult economic days. Since this was a donation, we did not have to spend operating money to affect our assistance programs. I want to recognize Dorcas Hammond with Horizon, Shaun O'Brien with Landmark, Board Member Glenn Jennings and Willard Williams for their particular great work in completing this project. May God richly bless them." stated Major Welch.

The short informal dedication service consisted of words of appreciation, prayer and a photo moment. Major Welch, a representative from Horizon Bank, Advisory Board Members and others were in attendance at the new sign on Highway 6. The Salvation Army continues to assist people with food, utility, medicines, shelter, rent, clothes, furniture and other crisis situations during these difficult days.
