Hounds About Town is a promotion in which businesses purchase a concrete dog statue from Kids Power, which is a community service group for kids that exclusively services Porter County Animal Shelter. The businesses get to decorate the dogs and the public is invited to visit the businesses to view the dogs.
The people vote for their favorite by sending in a ballot containing special codes from each dog to ensure they've seen them. Awards go to the top 3 favorite dog statues. When people send in their votes, they're put into a raffle to win cash prizes!
Kids Power is looking for businesses to participate! Our goal is 50 participating businesses and the money will go toward a much needed furnace, washer, and dryer for Porter County Animal Shelter.
